Inheritance enables polymorphism, one of the coolest and most powerful features of OO languages! Polymorphism is just a fancy way of saying that your program will execute different code depending on the data type. In the Java programming language, you have both compile-time polymorphism and runtime polymorphism. In this lesson, we will explore all the language features that help you write polymorphic code.
